    Pengaruh Ketebalan Kain Duchesse terhadap Hasil Jadi Gore-Cowl Skirt Metode Helen Joseph-Armstrong

      Abstrak   Gore-cowl skirt merupakan salah satu rok modifikasi antara rok pias yang terdapat sisipan seperti godet sehingga membentuk helaian-helaian tegak. Desain Gore-cowl skirt yang unik sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti gore-cowl skirt ini lebih lanjut. Kain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kain duchesse  karena kain ini cocok digunakan untuk desain rok gore-cowl skirt. Kain duchesse yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan ketebalan 0.27 mm,  0.34 mm dan 0.44 mm. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil jadi gore-cowl skirt menggunakan kain duchesse dengan ketebalan yang berbeda, untuk mengetahui pengaruh ketebalan kain dan hasil jadi gore-cowl skirt yang terbaik diantara ke tiga kain duchesse.    Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Variabel bebas dari eksperimen ini adalah kain duchesse dengan tebal (0.27 mm), (0.34 mm) dan (0.44 mm). Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dengan memberi tanda check  (√) dan dilakukan pada 6 dosen tata busana dan 24 mahasiswa tata busana. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis varians tunggal dengan bantuan program komputer SPSS 18. Berdasarkan analisis data penelitian hasil jadi gore-cowl skirt mengunakan tiga jenis kain duchesse 0.27 mm, 0.34 mm dan 0.44 mm ditinjau dari keseluruhan aspek menunjukkan bahwa hasil jadi gore-cowl skirt menggunakan kain duchesse 0.27 mm dengan mean sebesar 2.53 termasuk kategori baik. Sedangkan hasil jadi gore-cowl skirt menggunakan kain duchesse 0.34 mm nilai mean sebesar 3.32 termasuk kategori sangat baik. Kain duchesse 0.44 mm dengan mean sebesar 2.72 termasuk kategori baik. Ada pengaruh ketebalan kain duchesse terhadap hasil jadi gore-cowl skirt ditinjau dari lima aspek yaitu (1) ketepatan potongan garis pinggang (2) kesesuaian hasil jadi gore-cowl skirt  dengan desain (3) posisi gore-cowl skirt (4) ketepatan ruang gerak gore-cowl skirt (5) ketepatan lingkar bawah rok. Hasil jadi gore-cowl skirt terbaik ketebalan kain duchesse 0.34 mm.   Kata Kunci: Gore-cowl skirt , Ketebalan kain duchesse dan hasil jadi gore-cowl  skirt.     Abstract   Gore-cowl Gore-cowl or skirt is a skirt modifications between skirt pias contained such godet inserts forming helaian-helaian upright. Gore-cowl or skirt has a unique design, fashionable, and volume is the latest fashion. Because of the unique design so that researchers are interested in researching gore-cowl skirt this further. The fabric used in this research was the duchesse because this fabric is suitable for design skirt gore-cowl or skirt. Duchesse fabric used in this research is with thickness 0.27 mm, 0.34 mm and 0.44 mm. this research aims to know the results so gore-cowl skirt using the duchesse with thickness 0.27 mm, 0.34 mm and 0.44 mm and jadigore-the best skirt cowl third among the duchesse.. This type of research is a research experiment. The free variables of these experiments was the duchesse dengantebal (0.27 mm), (0.34 mm) and (0.44 mm). Method of collecting data using the observation sheet by check (& amp; # 8730;) and performed on the fashion and hairdressing lecturer 6 24 students of fashion. Data analysis technique used is a single variance analysis with the help of a computer program SPSS 18. Based on the research results of the data analysis so gore-cowl skirtmengunakan three types of fabric duchesse 0.27 mm, 0.34 mm and 0.44 mm of overall results demonstrate that aspect so gore-cowl using cloth or skirt duchesse 0.27 mm with a mean of 2.53 categories include both. While the results so gore-cowl using cloth or skirt duchesse 0.34 mm mean value of 3.32 includes categories very well. The duchesse 0.44 mm with a mean of 2.72 categories include both. There is the influence of the thickness of the fabric of the duchesse of results so gore-cowl skirt reviewed from five aspects, namely (1) the appropriateness of the waistline piece (2) suitability of results so gore-cowl design with the skirt (3) position of the cowl-gore skirt (4) the appropriateness of the space motion of gore-cowl or skirt (5) precision of the circumference of the bottom of the skirt.     The Application of Language Learning Strategies and Their Correlation with Students' Achievement (a Study on Ten Grades Students of Acceleration Class, Senior High School 5, Malang)

    In Indonesia, especially in Malang, people begin to learn English in order to improve their English ability. Learning English is different from learning mother tongue. They have to learn words which are completely different in their spelling, pronunciation, and grammar. So, to make it easier, language learning strategies are needed. Thus, the researcher is interested to investigate the degree of the use of language learning strategies and to find out whether there are any correlation between six categories of language learning strategies used by the students of the first grade at acceleration class of SMA Negeri 5 Malang and their English achievement.This study used quantitative approach related to statistical analysis. The subjects being investigated were 60 students on ten grades at acceleration program, senior high school 5, Malang. The data were obtained from Strategy Inventory for Language Learning (SILL) questionnaire completed by the students and their school grade report of the first semester. The result reveals that the use of overall language learning strategies falls into medium level. Specifically, the students prefer to use social strategies as the most frequently used, followed by memory, cognitive, affective, metacognitive and compensation strategies. A positive sufficient correlation is found between metacognitive strategies and English achievement. This sufficient correlation can be examined by looking at the context since English is used as the foreign language in Indonesia. In sum, the students of the first grade at acceleration class are the moderate users of overall language learning strategies. Metacognitive strategies are found as the strategies that correlate with students' achievement. Therefore, the teachers of acceleration class should introduce and promote more about the metacognitive strategies to their students in order to increase English achievement. The researcher also suggest for the readers, especially learners to apply metacognitive strategies because it can improve language skill

    The purpose of this research is to find out how the influence of surat tagihan pajak daerah (STP) daerah (local tax bills) on tax restaurant compliance. This researh is done because of the high rate of local tax bills that have been published by Dinas Pendapatan Daerah Kota Batu (Department of Revenue of Batu) during 2012-2014. The local tax bills is used by Departement of Revenue of Batu to impose tax arrears along with administrative sanctions. This research uses multivariate linear regression method, t-test and F test with significance level of 5%. The results of this research indicates in partial tax bills have no sigificant effect to the tax restaurant compliance but sanction of administrative shows significant effect to the tax compliance. Besides that, in simultaneous tax bills analysis and sanction of administrative shows significantly and positively influence on tax restaurant compliance

    This paper discusses the technical challenges in maritime image processing and machine vision problems for video streams generated by cameras. Even well documented problems of horizon detection and registration of frames in a video are very challenging in maritime scenarios. More advanced problems of background subtraction and object detection in video streams are very challenging. Challenges arising from the dynamic nature of the background, unavailability of static cues, presence of small objects at distant backgrounds, illumination effects, all contribute to the challenges as discussed here

    Level of Testosterone, Libido, and Sperm Quality of Bligon, Kejobong, and Etawah Cross-Bred Bucks

    The aim of the study was to investigate the comparison and correlation among testosterone concentrations, libido, and sperm quality of Bligon, Kejobong, and Etawah Cross-bred (PE) bucks at similar age, feed, and season. Samples used were 9 bucks (3 Bligon, 3 Kejobong, and 3 PE) of approximately 18 months of age. The testosterone was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method. Libido observation was quantified at the first time of sniffing, mounting, and finally ejaculation. Sperm was collected by using artificial vagina. The reesults showed that Kejobong’s testosterone in the morning (12.00±6.56 ng/ml) was significantly different compared to PE (6.82±4.18 ng/ml), whereas Bligon’s testosterone in the morning (9.23±4.73 ng/ml) was similar compared to Kejobong and PE. The best time of Kejobong’s libido was in the morning (6.77±5.96; 11.27±8.10, and 18.45±8.27 sec.) and in the afternoon (8.89±7.97; 11.03±8.74, and 21.05±9.60 sec.). The motility and concentrations of Kejobong’s spermatozoa (75.67±6.51% and 5838.67±140.90 x106/ml) were significantly different compared to Bligon (60.67±9.61% and 4625.33±129.72 x106/ml) and PE (63.13±8.33% and 3756.00±52.76 x106/ml. It could be concluded that Bligon and PE bucks have the similar testosterone concentration, and the libido and sperm quality of Kejobong is better than Bligon and PE bucks. Animal Production 15(2):76-82, May 201

    DEVELOPMENT AND CHARACTERIZATION OF POLYCLONAL ANTIBODY OF RECOMBINANT HUMAN INTERFERON Α2B IN NEW ZEALAND WHITE RABBIT

    We have developed recombinant wild type and mutant human interferon α2b (rhIFNα2b) from synthetic gene in Escherichia coli. To identify the successful product of the proteins, immunology-based assay was suggested due to specificity for characterization. This work was aimed to develop and characterize rhIFNα2b polyclonal antibody generated in White New Zealand rabbits. The rhIFNα2b was overproduced in Escherichia coli BL21 containing rhIFNα2b synthetic gene in pET32b.The protein was obtained as inclusion bodies, refolded, purified using nickel affinity chromatography, and characterized using polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The purified rhIFNα2b protein was injected into rabbits for 21 days. Absorption of E.coli antibody was done using total E. coli protein to remove antibody againts host cell.   The generation of antibody was monitored using dot blot and Western blot methods and quantified using Enzyme Linked Immunsorbant Assay (ELISA). To do so, rhIFNa2b was used as an antigen. The result showed that the rhIFNα2b was produced as a His-tag protein fusion of 33kDa in size. The results of dot blot and Western blot analyses strongly indicated that antibody against rhIFNα2b was generated and specifically recognized rhIFNα2b. ELISA showed that the titer of the polyclonal anti-rhIFNα2b was 1:10.000. In conclusion, polyclonal antibody spesifically against rhIFNα2b protein was successfully detected with high titer after 21 days after rabbit immunization

    Pengaruh Persentase Jumlah Pakan Buatan Yang Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Kepiting Bakau (Scylla Paramamosain)

    Pakan merupakan salah satu modal operasional yang besar dalam USAha budidaya kepiting bakau (S. paramamosain). Pakan yang digunakan harus dapat berperan efisien, supaya dapat menekan biaya tanpa mengurangi tingkat produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh persentase pakan optimal terhadap perkembangan budidaya kepiting bakau (S. paramamosain). Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Eksperimental yang dilakukan di lapangan dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yaitu 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan A (pakan 3% dari bobot biomassa pakan), B (pakan 5% dari bobot biomassa pakan), C (pakan 7% dari bobot biomassa pakan, D (pakan 9% dari bobot biomassa pakan). Hewan uji yang digunakan adalah kepiting bakau (S. paramamosain) dengan berat awal rata-rata 111,91±1,12 g/ekor. Pakan uji merupakan pakan buatan yang diperkaya dengan vitamin E dengan dosis 0,8 g/100 g pakan, kandungan protein dalam pakan mencapai 35 %. Kepiting bakau (Scylla paramamosain) dipelihara dengan metode single room dalam basket plastik berukuran 25 x 16 x 15 cm selama 56 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase pakan buatan memberikan pengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap RGR, EPP, PER, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap SR kepiting bakau. Persentase optimal yang dihasilkan dari pertumbuhan adalah 7,59%, sedangkan untuk efisieinsi pakan adalah 7,72%. Nilai kelulushidupan kepiting bakau (Scylla paramamosain) berkisar antara 66,67–100,00%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah persentase pemberian pakan dengan jumlah berbeda memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap laju pertumbuhan relatif, efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan dan protein efisiensi pakan, namun tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap kelulushidupan. persentase pemberian pakan yang dapat diberikan pada pakan buatan untuk kepiting bakau (Scylla paramamosain) adalah pakan dengan persentase 7% dari bobot biomassa. Feed is one of the major operating in cultivation of mud crab (S. paramamosain). Feed used must be able to act efficiently, in order to reduce costs without reducing the level of production. This research aims to determine the optimal effect of the feed percentage on the growth of mud crab aquaculture (S. paramamosain). This research was conducted using Experimental Methods with completely randomized design (CRD), those is 4 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment A (3% feeds of the weight biomass), B (5% feeds of weight biomass), C (7% feeds of weight biomass feed, D (9% feeds of weight biomass). Animal testing used was mud crab (S. paramamosain) with an average initial weight of 111.91 ± 1.12 g / individual. Feed testing is artificial feed enriched with vitamin E at a dose of 0.8 g/100 g of feed, protein content in the feed is 35%. Mud crab (S. paramamosain) maintained by the method of single room in a plastic basket measuring 25 x 16 x 15 cm during 56 day. The results shows the percentage of artificial feed gives significant effect (P <0.05) on RGR, EPP, PER, but not significantly (P> 0.05) on SR mangrove crabs. The optimal resulting percentage of growth was 7.59%, while for efisieinsi feed is 7.72%. The survival rate of mud crab (S. paramamosain) ranged from 66.67 to 100.00%.The survival rate of mud crab (S. paramamosain) ranged from 66.67 to 100.00%.
